IEP EDITORIAL SUPPORT

For ADHD & IEP students, the process of writing college admissions essays takes extra time and encouragement. My editorial assistance carefully enters their paragraphs and helps students organize their thoughts, develop ideas, and express self-awareness with clarity and confidence. EAE students are empowered rather than under pressure because each revision sessions is a safety net where writing is allowed to be imperfect and clunky before it's clean and correct. The more material there is to work with, the more personal insights and core values I help students highlight. 

Students submit 3 to 5 paragraphs. I'll clean up grammar, display all the writing strategies of EAE's remote edits live in a shared Google Doc and provide a helpful template to guide their narrative essays through to completion.

​Summer Writing Workshops

Ortley Beach, NJ

• EAE's Summer writing workshops serve two purposes: help polish teen essays for college submissions and provide a day of rest and reset for moms. This 2-hour workshop is designed for all writing levels. In the inspiring setting of Ortley Beach, revision workshops are held in the St. Elizabeth Chapel By the Sea, steps away from the Atlantic Ocean. Students submit 3-5 paragraphs in Google Docs beforehand. Dr. B cleans up common errors of overwriting, disorganization, and verb-tense issues. Together, we implement all the writing strategies of the remote edits, and students leave with a clean, edited essay, EAE prepared for college submissions.​
